Overview

Online educationWelcome to Sterling Business School online education system! This part of our website allows you to learn world-class educational programs and courses from anywhere.

 

 

 

Available courses

To view the list of available courses, click "Courses" in the main menu. You will see all the courses present in the system. If you are already enrolling in some courses, they will also be displayed in your "Cabinet".

To read basic information and review the structure of certain course, click it's name. You will see the page that shows overview of the course, it's structure and list of modules. If you are vieweing the course which you are enrolled in, modules which are already available to you will be accessible.

 

Course participation

In order to participate in some course, open it's home page (can be accessed from the course list). After the description of the course you will see the "Apply" button. After pressing this button you see basic requirements for that course. If you agree with them, press "Apply" button again.

Now you will need to wait until administrator confirms your participation request. You will receive notification in your "Cabinet" when it's done. After that you will have this course listed in your "Active Courses" list.

 

Course modules

Each course consist of several modules. Each module is a logical "piece" of the course. Module could contain either text, presentaion slides or video. Presentation slides are most often used. During slides reviewing you may also read additional notes below each slide.

Not all modules are accessible for studying after you have started your participation. You need to receive administrative permission to continue with further modules. Some modules have tests after them, which should be passed before you continue.

After you have finished the last module available for you, at the bottom of that module`s page you will see the link used to send your request to the administrator. When the administrator will confirm your further participation, you will see notification in your "Cabinet", and new modules will become accessible.

 

Tests

When you will finish any logical part of the course, or the whole course itself, the last module will contain the link to the test which you should pass. This is required to reveal the next part of the course or to complete the course.

Each test consists of several questions, which could be one of two types, eather multiple choice, or text answer. Answers for multiple choice questions could have one or more options. Text answers require manual answer input.

You have unlimited amount of time to pass any test. Also, if you want to start the test from the very beginning, just log off ang log in again.
